Alberta Motor Associate Selects MajescoMastek for Billing

Edmonton, Alberta-based Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (AMA) will use New York-based MajescoMastek's STG Billing service, the companies announced today.

The direct P&C writer with in-house claims and legal departments will initially focus the implementation on its auto (personal and commercial), property and accident insurance.

"We needed a system that could effectively manage our multiple distribution channels and enable us to deliver the level of exceptional customer service that we require," said Bob Hillman, VP of finance, AMA Insurance, in a statement. "We were initially looking to build a solution in-house. After completion of initial requirements we determined it would be more cost effective to purchase a solution. STG Billing provides us with out-of-the-box functionality that meets most of our needs, but can be further configured in-house."
