Dakota Imaging (Columbia, MD) and Coral Gables, FL-based FACTS Services, Inc., have entered into a strategic partnership in which their combined technologies will provide health insurers with the components for automated claims administration.

TALIANT JOINS ACORD

ACIC JOINS NAII FOLD

The membership of the Association of California Insurance Companies (ACIC, Sacramento) agreed to formally affiliate with the National Association of Independent Insurers (NAII, Des Plaines, IL). Under the agreement, NAII assumes administrative and operational control of ACIC.

Carlsbad, CA-based Document Sciences Corp. is integrating its correspondence solution, DLS eCor, with FileNET Corp.'s (Costa Mesa, CA) Acenza insurance application suite. Document Sciences is a new member of FileNET's ValueNET program.

ONLINE RIMS SURVEY

Advisen Ltd. (New York) and RIMS (New York) launched the interactive, online version of the annual RIMS Benchmark Survey. Starting in January 2003, a Subscriber Benchmarking Service will allow subscribers to use interactive benchmarking tools to compare costs and programs against continuously updated marketplace data.
