Allianz Life Names Jeff Palm CIO

Allianz Life Insurance of North America (Minneapolis) has hired Jeff Palm as its new senior VP and chief information officer. Palm will be responsible for leading Allianz Life's IT organization and will report to Walter White, senior VP and chief administrative officer.

"As we continue to focus on technology as a critical driver of our business success, Jeff's experience and leadership will be important to the growth and profitability of our business," comments White. "By adding Jeff's expertise to our current IT senior leadership team, we are exceptionally well-positioned for technology execution and innovation."

Palm was most recently managing director-technology at from RBC Wealth Management (Minneapolis). Palm formerly held senior leadership roles in technology at Fingerhut/Federated, American Express, and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Palm received his Bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Illinois. He has completed more than 1,000 hours of professional training covering business strategy, technical, managerial, and presentation skills, according to an Allianz Life statement.
