Allstate Certifies Vertafore’s Agency Management Systems

Vertafore announced that its agency management systems have been certified to receive data from Allstate Corporation, streamlining the download process for the carrier's captive agents.

Allstate Insurance (Northbrook, Ill.) has certified Bothell, Wash.-based Vertafore's agency management systems-- which include AMS 360, InStar and Prime -- to receive data from its systems, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, Allstate's agents will be able to download customer-related billing, claims and coverage information into their Vertafore agency management systems, which could lead to improved service and premium volume growth, the vendor suggests.

"While Allstate agents realized the value of our industry-leading management systems, they were clear they needed download capabilities to maximize the benefits of using them," Gytis Barzdukas, vice president, product management, Agency Markets with Vertafore, said in a press release. "We appreciate the work of the Allstate team to develop this solution and are excited by the fact that Allstate exclusive agents now have the option of using Vertafore's management systems to improve agency productivity and better serve their customers."
