Amica Goes Live with Android, BlackBerry App
Lincoln, R.I.-based Amica Mutual has brought its mobile app to the Android and BlackBerry smartphone platforms.
The app, which includes claims, emergency services requests, maintenance reminders and personal inventory capabilities, was released for Apple's iOS platform in November.
“Having our mobile app available on the three most popular smartphone platforms is one more way we offer great service to our customers,” Lisa St. Onge, assistant VP in Amica’s claims department, says in a statement. “This new app means most of our customers can now access their accounts, file claims, contact our Roadside Assistance Program and even browse recommended repair shops directly from their mobile phones.”
Amica worked with Toronto-based Five Mobile on the development of the app.
