Overland Park, Kan. - APU Solutions introduced a parts management and support solution for insurance carriers and repair facilities that provides recycler and aftermarket parts supplier inventory, availability and pricing in real time. PartsNetwork 5.0 is updated instantly as changes occur, through a services agreement with Hotlines (Council Bluffs, Iowa), an automotive recycling industry communication and parts locating network with over 1,000 member recyclers. APU and Hotlines use a combination of intuitive software and Internet and satellite technology to immediately match parts requests against recycler inventories. Potential buyers can purchase directly from the supplier of their choice through a customized parts supplier network and know immediately if parts are available and how much they cost.
