Argo Group Names Fleischer E&S Segment Chief Underwriting Officer

The veteran of ACE and Chubb Group will work in the company's Atlanta office.

Bermuda-based Argo Group has named Michael Fleischer chief underwriting officer for its excess and surplus (E&S) lines segment.

Fleischer will report to E&S division president Lou Levinson. Based in Atlanta, Fleischer last worked as chief underwriting officer in ACE Westchester Specialty Group’s casualty division. In his eight years at ACE, he also was VP of ACE Bermuda's liability underwriting division. He also worked in underwriting at Chubb Group.

“With more than 30 years in the insurance industry, Mike brings both extensive underwriting experience as well as an in depth knowledge of the excess and surplus lines business," Levinson says in a statement.
