Arizona State Compensation Fund Selects Guidewire

The worker's compensation insurer has selected the vendor's full insurance suite for policy administration, claims, billing, rating and underwriting.

The Arizona State Compensation Fund (SCF Arizona, Phoenix) has selected Guidewire's (San Mateo, Calif.) InsuranceSuite for rating, underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management.

SCF Arizona will deploy PolicyCenter and BillingCenter first, followed by ClaimCenter. A major goal was enhancing operational efficiencies for its growing agency distribution channel.

"We selected Guidewire based on the maturity of its products and the company's industry knowledge and experience," Arnold Jee, director, IT/applications and product development, says in a statement. "We are confident that InsuranceSuite will help us configure and build resources efficiently, keeping costs and time investments to a minimum."
