AXA Equitable Promotes CIO Healy to EVP
The board of directors for New York-based AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company has elected Michael Healy an EVP of the company. He had been an SVP in addition to CIO, a position he's held since last November.
Healy is responsible for directing the company's systems strategy and delivery, including infrastructure, application development and corporate architecture. He reports to Richard Silver, senior EVP and chief administrative officer.
"This appointment reflects the confidence we have in Mike's leadership and his ability to deliver excellence in technology that helps the company achieve its business objectives," said Mark Pearson, chairman and CEO of AXA Equitable. "How well a company like ours leverages technology is central to success."
Healy joined AXA in 2006.
