BCBSMA Enters Into 3-Year, $5.1 Million Contract with Concordant
As the result of a three-year, $5.1 million agreement, technology consulting firm Concordant Inc. (North Chelmsford, MA) will provide Boston-based Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) with management and enhancement services of BCBSMA's LAN server and desktop configuration infrastructure. The deal was driven by Concordant's quality of service and track record, according to Ed Esposito, vice president of information technology service, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA, Boston). "Concordant has done a number of key projects for BCBSMA," reports Esposito. "They have done an outstanding job and we felt they had the depth of service and commitment to quality standards that BCBSMA was looking for."
Concordant will provide infrastructure and distributed desktop management and support for day-to-day client server operations. Concordant will also evaluate current processes and develop quality assurance practices to ensure improvement in end-user service levels.
According to Esposito, Concordant will improve the efficiency of the LAN and desktop IT services provided to BCBSMA's associates.
