BCBSMN Names Anudeep Parhar VP of Technology Strategy and Planning
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN; Eagan, Minn.) has promoted Anudeep Parhar to vice president of technology strategy and planning, the carrier has announced. In his new role, Parhar will be responsible for overseeing the development of a multi-year information technology strategy. Parhar was senior director and chief architect, enterprise business services and IT strategy.
"Technology is a critical area in today's health care landscape. Anudeep's leadership will allow Blue Cross to continue to position itself as a health company serving our customers and members with new technology and better services," says Jay Levine, senior vice president and chief information officer at Blue Cross.
Parhar has more than 17 years of experience building and leading high performing technology and service organizations, according to a BCBSMN statement. Prior to Blue Cross, Parhar held a wide variety of technology and client services leadership positions for business units of varying size, maturity and geography at Thomson Reuters.
Parhar holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Computer Science degree from Gulbarga University, India and a Master of Science and Computer Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management Minnesota Management Institute (MMI) Executive Education program.
