Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Appoints New CIO
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, a commercial property casualty insurance group launched by Berkshire Hathaway Inc. earlier this year, has appointed James O. Roser CIO, headquartered in Boston.

Prior to this position, Roser was VP at Alterra Capital, now acquired by Markel. His background also includes 10 years at The Travelers, a commercial P&C insurer, and the Insurance and Financial Services Practice at Accenture, a technology and business process consultancy.
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway and focuses on commercial P&C in the U.S.
