Brazos Specialty Risk Partners with SpeedGauge for Analytics
Dallas-based Brazos Specialty Risk, a mid-market truck insurance provider, has entered into a partnership with San Francisco-based business intelligence and location-based analytics provider SpeedGauge by which the former will gain access to analytics that will help it price risks.
"With SpeedGauge deployed across a fleet, Brazos can offer the best possible rates while providing added incentive for a fleet to educate its drivers on safe driving techniques," Chris Polk, CEO of Brazos, says in a statement. "Because of the analytics provided, we'll be able to pass down savings to those companies using SpeedGauge and offer a discount on our rates."
SpeedGauge offers its services through GPS tracking providers, according to the company, so no additional equipment is required for fleets.
