Brotherhood Mutual Selects Information Builders

Fort Wayne, Ind.- based Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company will implement New York-based Information Builder's WebFOCUS business intelligence (BI) platform as its enterprise reporting standard to help the company give business users a more convenient way to access and share information.

According to a press release, the solution is connecting workers throughout Brotherhood Mutual with current business information via parameterized reports and automated workflow systems. WebFOCUS also allows users in claims, customer service, and other departments to access timely operational data from various systems and platforms without support from the IT department.

Brotherhood Mutual will leverage WebFOCUS to overhaul an Excel-based time-tracking system used by its customer service personnel. Using a WebFOCUS dashboard, the insurance company also developed a BI environment to track pending claims and generate workload statistics.
