Piqua, Ohio-based Buckeye Insurance Group has partnered with Columbia, S.C.-based EagleEye Analytics on an enterprise-wide predictive analytics program to provide more competitive rates for its personal auto policies.
The insurer was introduces to EagleEye through consultant Guy Carpenter. It was looking for a way to better rate its target market, which consists mainly of rural drivers who often travel long distances.
"We are excited to be partnering with Buckeye. Implementing sophisticated predictive analytics can revolutionize a carrier's underwriting capabilities," said Roger Burkhardt, President and CEO of EagleEye Analytics, in a statement.
