Advisor Products Releases CRM Interface
Westbury, N.Y.-based Advisor Products has announced that it has developed an interface with XLR8 for Salesforce that aims to transform a financial advisory firm's CRM system into a client communications tool. XLR8 is a version of the Salesforce.com (San Francisco) customer relationship management (CRM) application customized for financial advisors by Flower Mound, Texas -based Moulton Strategic Partners.
Through the Advisor Products interface with XLR8, advisory firms can to manage and track client "to-do" activities, as well as manage contacts and track tasks assigned to staff, by integrating with Advisor Products Personal Client Portals platform, a Web-based financial advisor technology system dedicated to enhancing client communications.
"A financial advisor can now assign a to-do to a client in XLR8 and the task is displayed in the client's personal financial portal," Bruce Moulton, president of Moulton Strategic Partners, explained in an Advisor Products press release. "When an advisor asks a client to send in tax forms, meet to discuss estate planning, and deal with other important financial planning tasks, the client's progress is tracked."
