ZANTAZ (Pleasanton, Calif.) released version 6.5 of its Digital Safe product for compliance archiving, monitoring and e-discovery. The vendor claims the solution will allow organizations to more effectively meet the records retention, supervision and retrieval requirements of regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC Rule 17a-4 through new features that improve chain of custody, business continuity, security and user efficiency.
Version 6.5 features LiveCapture verification, which provides a defensible audit trail of archived messages; Strong Authentication Access, which enables the use of hardware tokens to securely log in to all Web-based Digital Safe applications; Disclaimer Exclusion, which reduces review of unnecessary false positive messages by ignoring hits caused by disclaimer text; Mailbox Level Message Selection, which helps ensure that organizations monitor the correct level of messages for each individual; E-Mail Variations, which allows users to refine searches by showing all potential combinations of a user's e-mail addresses; and Date Gap Report, which increases search accuracy by highlighting time gaps in e-mail discovery result sets.
