Chartis Launches Broker Underwriting Site
New York-based Chartis, the P&C subsidiary of AIG, has launched MyChartis, a website giving brokers access to the carrier's U.S.’s online commercial insurance underwriting applications and services, as well as customized reports with account-specific information.
MyChartis is available to 19,000 brokers, the company claims. It features 24/7 access to account-related information; access to Chartis’ online commercial insurance underwriting applications through a single log-in; activity summaries that monitor the life cycle of Chartis submissions; reports that generate loss-runs and claim-related details; a score card overview of submission activity and conversion ratios with the Chartis insurers; and a catalog that depicts the types of risks covered by the Chartis insurers, the company claims.
“The MyChartis platform is a significant step in fulfilling our promise to deliver excellent customer service, as it simplifies the navigation process for our products and services, enhances time efficiencies for our brokers, and embodies our commitment to technology,” John Doyle, president and CEO of Chartis U.S., says in a statement.
