Teradata releases Touchpoint Server; Active Decisions releases Active Financial Assistant; enhanced functionality for Siebel eHealthcare 7 is available from Siebel Systems.

Teradata (Dayton, OH) has released Touchpoint Server (TPS) as part of its CRM suite. TPS serves as the central technology linking marketing communications with customer interaction channels such as call centers, Web sites, ATMs and Web kiosks, in near-real time, the company reports.

Active Decisions Inc. (Burlingame, CA) released Active Financial Assistant (AFA). AFA provides recommendations based on customers' preferences that are derived by direct interaction with them. AFA acts like an automated broker or banker, asking appropriate questions to determine a customer's preferences and how each of them is weighted in the overall financial services design process.

New and enhanced functionality for Siebel eHealthcare 7 is available from Siebel Systems (San Mateo, CA). Based on the Siebel Smart Web Architecture, the solution delivers a browser-based Web client, providing interactivity previously available only from Windows desktop applications.
