Quest Software, Inc. (Irvine, CA), an application management solutions provider, has released Quest Central for Oracle. Quest Central provides database management tools in one product, which enables immediate notification of the database administrator of impending problems, according to Quest Software.
Tucson-based FinanCenter launched its e-Merchandising System (EMS), a Web site personalization engine. EMS can help financial institutions deploy interactive personal finance tools (analyzers, educators, planners, solution centers) that engage customers while capturing key profile data, the vendor says. "The emphasis has turned to targeted one-to-one site personalization, to build a tailored Web experience for every client and prospect," explains Corey Smith, FinanCenter's president.
UpShot Corp. (Mountain View, CA) released UpShot XE for large organizations. The subscription service is a sales-focused CRM solution accessed via a Web browser, or it can be used offline on a laptop. It features integration capability and a workflow engine, and can integrate with legacy applications such as ERP, financials, data warehouse, supply-chain management systems and home-grown applications, the vendor reports.
eConvergent, Inc. (San Ramon, CA), a CRM infrastructure software provider, has released emerge, which captures customer interactions across all CRM and legacy applications, correlating that information into a picture of activity and presenting it in a single view.
