Siebel Systems Inc. (San Mateo, CA) has released Siebel 7.5. The product, which is an upgrade to its customer relationship management software, includes the vendor's new universal application network. The universal application network is a set of pre-built business processes designed to work with any application-integration server. The software is the first major upgrade for Siebel since its version 7.0 release last year. Changes in the new release are focused on reducing time and money that companies must spend to customize CRM software for their unique business processes, according to Siebel.
The latest version of mySAP CRM application has been released by Walldorf, Germany-based SAP. It delivers the world's first fully portal-based CRM solution, claims SAP. Features include new workforce management capabilities for customer interaction centers, a new partner portal, analytics for insight across customer touch points, improved mobile capabilities and incentive and commission management. MySAP CRM also includes new customer and marketing analytics that can be used to drive more targeted marketing campaigns, says the vendor.
Epicor Software (Irvine, CA), provider of e-business and collaborative commerce software solutions, announced the availability of Clientele Customer Support 8.0. It is the first application in the Clientele CRM.NET Suite available to customers and it is architected on the Microsoft .NET platform. Clientele Customer Support 8.0 delivers new scalability and integration capabilities, claims Epicor. Because it employs native Web services and XML throughout, Clientele Customer Support 8.0 makes integration to external applications faster and easier, says the company.
