Equarius (Bellevue, WA) has been named by Microsoft (Redmond, WA) Business Solutions as a reselling channel partner for the upcoming Microsoft Business Solutions CRM solution. It is built on the Microsoft .NET platform and is due for release later this year. Accessible from Microsoft Outlook and the Web, Microsoft CRM will enable businesses to build more profitable customer relationships while leveraging their existing IT investments through increased sales effectiveness and more consistent customer service, according to Equarius.
Eloqua Corp. (San Francisco), a provider of lead-generation solutions, and San Francisco-based salesforce.com, provider of online CRM solutions, are partnering to deliver integrated CRM and digital marketing applications to B2B-focused sales and marketing organizations. Benefits of the integration, claim the companies, include automatic logging or predictive e-mail activity within the salesforce.com application on an individual contact basis, including email opens, click-throughs, new subscriptions and requests to unsubscribe.
Palmware (Toulouse, France), a mobile solutions development company, has announced the release of XS-CRM for Nokia 9200 Communicator Series and Siebel 7.5. Together with Nokia, Palmware has developed an extension of its CRM solutions that takes advantage of the device and operating system features of Nokia products and is compatible with and complementary to Siebel eBusiness Applications. This will represent the first Siebel 7.5 compatible CRM application developed natively for Nokia Communicators and the Symbian OS. Palmware's solution, according to the vendor, provides the ability to run online and offline across all mobile devices and operating system platforms.
