CRM BRIEFS
Clear Technologies (Dallas) announced the release of a new module for its C2 CRM system. The content management module offers an automated approach to updating regularly changing information on a company's Web site, the vendor reports. It also permits approved users access to certain areas on the company's Web site to change or update content. The content management system pulls information out of C2 CRM to update Web site content.
Adia Information Management Corp. (Ann Arbor, MI) announced the release of ManagePoint, software designed to help small and mid-sized companies equip their clients with self-service tools, account accessibility and interactive case tracking. Adia, an Integrated Software Vendor partner of Microsoft Business Solutions, developed ManagePoint to integrate with Microsoft Customer Relationship Management technology. According to the vendor, ManagePoint allows companies to provide Web-based customer service and account management by placing a link on their corporate Web sites. A branded portal provides a platform for a company's customers to initiate and access their service requests, billing and invoice history, live chat and document management.
A Yankee Group (Boston) report titled "Latin American Enterprises Find CRM Solutions in Small Packages" says there is a wide array of CRM software purchasers in Latin America -- especially in Brazil and Mexico, where large customer bases justify the investment. However, until the region's marketers develop a greater appreciation for both sophisticated segmentation models and personalized campaigns via direct channels, the growth potential for systems such as CRM analytics will be limited, according to Sheryl Kingstone, program manager for customer relationship management strategies, Yankee Group. The study also found that most Latin American enterprises look to US-based organizations for CRM best practices.
