CSC To Resell Fraud Investigator
As part of a strategic alliance that will both increase Computer Sciences Corp.'s (CSC, Austin, TX) offerings to the P&C industry and enable similarity engine software provider InfoGlide Corp.'s (Austin) Fraud Investigator solution to reach a larger market, InfoGlide has granted CSC exclusive global rights to resell Fraud Investigator to the P&C market. Fraud Investigator was developed specifically for the P&C special investigative unit market.
The Fraud Investigator application resides on InfoGlide's similarity engine, which looks within databases for data with similarities, explains Mike Shultz, CIO, InfoGlide. "We selected CSC because they are the premiere systems integrator for claims solutions in the industry," says Shultz.
CSC and InfoGlide have been waiting until the market was prepared to make this particular alliance, according to Joe Jensen, executive vice president, cost containment solutions, CSC. "The market has a focus on fraud detection now," says Jensen. "This opportunity gives CSC further entrance into the industry. We are selling to 62 percent in our chosen market and this"gaining the exclusive rights to market Fraud Investigator to the P&C industry"will let us grow."
