ONLINE PAYMENT

The Hartford Financial Services Group (Hartford) launched e-payment functionality to all its self-administered group life and group disabilitycustomers. Customers will have the option to make monthly premium payments by submitting an invoice online. Payments will be processed by an ACH transfer through the customer's bank.

R&SA LAUNCHES SITE

Royal & SunAlliance (Charlotte, NC) launched a new corporate Web site that provides access to the carrier's product, claims and agent information. The site provides multiple paths to key information, including a new agent match functionality, in addition to tools such as the firm's Advanced Risk Management System (ARMS), a line of services to support risk management activities.

MHS HIPAA COMPLIANCE

Booz Allen (McLean, VA) and Plateau Systems (Arlington, VA) will develop, implement and manage Web-based HIPAA training and compliance tools for The Military Health System (MHS, Falls Church, VA).

MIB DEPLOYS REST TECH

Westwood, MA-based MIB Group has deployed REST (representational state transfer) technology to provide a set of Web services that extend in-house IT business solutions to clients by providing software functionality directly over the Internet.
