HARTFORD upgraded

The Hartford Financial Services Group (Hartford) has enhanced HartfordOnline, its Web site for retirement plan sponsors and participants. The new services include electronic file submission, electronic remission of payments, and a plan sponsor toolbox.

AnnuityNet, Inc. (Herndon, VA), and Charlotte, NC-based Wachovia Insurance Agency, Inc., owner of Info-One/ VARDS, will combine the two companies' annuity services and technology into a single company, known initially as AnnuityNet/VARDS.
