Wireless sales force automation and CRM provider eAgency Systems (Irvine, CA) has entered into an independent software vendor agreement with mobile communications player Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM, Waterloo, ON). The pact's initial focus is on the insurance and financial services industry and provides for the joint marketing of the eAgency solution to connect insurance professionals to their corporate databases via RIM Blackberry handheld devices.

A Virtual Sales Office has been deployed for Humana, Inc. (Louisville), by Northbrook, IL-based NetStudy. The solution provides Humana's 200 sales representatives with an online sales training program and a dynamic updateable library of products and services.

SwissRe (Zurich) has contracted to use New York-based eReinsure.com's online platform for reinsurance negotiation. eReinsure's neutral platform enables all parties to a reinsurance transaction to efficiently share information and document agreements, establish terms of agreement, review and manage information related to reinsurance placement, and provide XML integration with existing internal systems in a secure environment.
