Docucorp International (Dallas) signed an agreement with Century Insurance Group (Columbus, OH) to provide the carrier's agents with Docucorp's policy automation solutions. Century will provide its agents with an electronic forms library for integration with Docucorp's policy production system. The library will be created, maintained and updated by Docucorp's Library Services Group.
Pacific Life (Newport Beach, CA) has put its proprietary Navigator illustration system online. The Web-based system generates illustrations and presentations with ease equal to the original desktop version, while eliminating software updates and enabling producers to store case files online, the carrier claims. Features of the systems include upload and storage of existing case files and auto-save of data upon exit. All Pacific Life's life insurance products are featured in Navigator, as well as client presentations such as annuity maximization, comparison of term insurance vs. slide fund, incentive bonus strategy, life insurance retirement strategy, Section 7872 loans (for estate liquidity), pension maximization, and spousal lifetime access trust.
Ohio Casualty Group (OCG, Fairfield, OH) will make policy loss run reports available through IVANS Transformation Station for independent agents using the Applied Agency Management System (Applied Systems, University Park, IL). The loss run reports will also be accessible through the Agency Services section of the OCG member companies Web site. The new feature will enhance existing real-time capability OCG offers agents for billing inquiry.
