GEICO Launches Mobile Quoting for Motorcycle Insurance

Optimized for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 7, policies can be purchased through a mobile web site.

Washington, D.C.-based GEICO has launched a mobile-optimized site through which motorcycle and ATV owners can purchase policies.

GEICO Mobile Cycle is optimized for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone 7 platforms.

“Advances in mobile technology have created opportunities for companies to stay engaged with their customers,” said Thomas Garner, GEICO Powersports director of sales and service, in a statement. “Data shows that consumers are confident using their mobile devices to research products and services as well as make purchases online.”
