Hearsay Debuts Social Networking Management Platform, Announces Contracts with State Farm, Farmers
Hearsay Corporation officially debuted its Hearsay Social social media management platform designed to assist companies in adopting sites such as Facebook, Linked in and Twitter while addressing compliance, liability and brand management issues. The vendor claims to have rolled out to over 30,000 users in several industries, including P&C insurers State Farm and Farmers (see related story at link).
The vendor describes Hearsay Social as a SaaS platform consisting of compliance, workflow, content management capabilities and analytics for use with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Hearsay claims its platform's enterprise hierarchy management technology lets organizations easily manage social media efforts at local, regional and national levels from a central dashboard.
Hearsay has entered into what it describes as a multi-faceted strategic partnership with Linked in that includes collaboration in sales and marketing efforts as well as full integration between Hearsay Social and the LinkedIn messaging API to delivery 100 percent compliance to customers, regardless of whether their local representatives access LinkedIn from work, home or a mobile device. According to a Hearsay spokesperson, the platform is also fully integrated with Facebook and Twitter's public APIs.
