Insurance Technologies Adds Data Management to POS System
Insurance Technologies, the Colorado Springs, Colo.-based manufacturer of the ForeSight illustration and point-of-sale system, has added a data management tool to that platform.
The extension, DataSight, allows ForeSight users to configure products, manage product features, manage product accounts, update product rates and clone products, according to the company. If changes to these data are required due to investment conditions, competitive pressures or regulatory requirements, carriers can maintain these through a single interface and save costs, Insurance Technologies adds.
“Allowing our clients the ability to self-maintain certain areas of product data allows them to realize even greater speed to market and cost savings associated with self-maintained product updates,” David Fenimore, EVP of engineering and CIO for Insurance Technologies, says in a statement.
Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans have recently begun using ForeSight. The program handles needs analysis, asset allocation and sales concepts, hypotheticals, forms generation, application processing, and group or multi-life cases for life, annuities, critical illness, disability and long-term care carriers.
