Eden Prairie, Minn. • Stellent launched Stellent Universal Records Management, a content management solution built on a distributed architecture that enables insurers to apply enterprisewide records and retention policies, and manage policies from a single application, according to the vendor. El Segundo, Calif. • Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) released a new version of its RISKMASTER claims and risk management information system -- RISKMASTER X -- that features an architecture and Web portal model that are new to the self-insured marketplace. According to CSC, the Web portal allows clients to create one Internet-accessible hub for all claims-related functions; the centralized access enables administrators to more efficiently manage the entire claims process.
San Diego • Akonix rolled out L7 Builder v5, a secure instant messaging system designed to integrate IM into enterprise applications and create real-time communications, says the vendor. The Akonix L7 Builder v5, which supports the new MSN Messenger Activity Window, creates and deploys solutions to extend existing enterprise applications while supporting standard development environments and the use of enterprise IM networks.

SmartForms helps users create customized, interactive Web-based forms by embedding business rules directly into Web forms. Atlanta • Premiere Global Services upgraded its speech technology platform to include outbound call pacing and inbound transfer pacing; and real-time reporting, which allows organizations to monitor their calling campaigns with visual charting of actual paces relative to predefined parameters, according to the vendor.
Parsippany, N.J. • GAB Robins North America introduced EYE Advisor, a Web-based suite of claims management and reporting tools that provide access to real-time claims management data with the ability to track those claims, interact with the claims team, and generate reports that identify and track trends, says the vendor.
