Make Web Service a Reality

Strategies for customer retention are the focus of Insurance & Technology's Executive Summit 2001.

Increasingly, the Web is being recognized as an excellent platform for providing personalized, anywhere/anytime service and information to today's demanding and fickle financial services customers. Fusura, a new online venture jointly sponsored by insurance industry giants Prudential, AIG and Kemper, aims to capitalize on this opportunity. Attendees at the Insurance & Technology Executive Summit 2001, "Putting Customers First, and Profiting from It" (Dec. 9-12, 2001, Arizona Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix), will get a sneak peek at the Fusura game plan when president/chief executive officer Mark Parsells addresses "It's More Than Selling: Using E-Technologies To Improve Service and Customer Retention."

Other Executive Summit 2001 program highlights include insights into "The Truth about the Financial Services Customer" offered by Greg Davies, senior analyst/insurance at Gomez Inc.; an Emerging Technologies Forecast; a discussion on "The CIO's Role in a Customer-Centric World," with panelists including Barbara Koster, CIO of Prudential Insurance and Kevin Murray, CIO of AIG Claims Services; plus, special interest roundtables on a range of hot topics including Technology ROI and E-Business Strategies that Work.

Attendees at this year's Insurance & Technology Executive Summit will benefit from three days of networking, education and entertainment for top industry executives—CIOs, CTOs, e-commerce directors, presidents, line-of-business heads and other technology decision-makers—who want to stay ahead of the critical issues shaping their industry.

Highlighting this exclusive invitation-only event, now in its third year, is the annual Elite 8 2001 Awards Dinner (Monday, Dec. 10), which recognizes the honorees of I&T's annual special issue. Also, one-on-one meetings with solutions providers give insurance company attendees the opportunity to get advance insight into the hottest insurance-focused technology initiatives. Confirmed sponsors at press time include CheckFree, Deloitte Consulting, eFunds Corp., Infosys, Rebus Group, SeeBeyond, Selectica, Inc., Sherwood International, SilverStream Software, and Sun Microsystems.
