INTEGRATING COTTON

Atlanta-based Cotton States Insurance Co. has implemented Informatica Corp.'s (Redwood City, CA) data integration platform, Informatica PowerCenter, to enhance customer analysis capabilities for internal users.

GENISYSTEMS WINS

Toronto-based CIBC Insurance and Gerber Life Insurance Co. (White Plains, NY) have each licensed GeniSystems.ca Services' (Toronto) enterprise-wide administration solution. Gerber Life will use the solution for its Canadian life insurance operation and CIBC will use the product for direct marketing of insurance products.

CNA USES GUIDEWIRE

CNA (Chicago) has selected Guidewire Software's (San Mateo, CA) Guidewire ClaimCenter for an enterprise-wide initiative to enhance the carrier's claims operations.

KEMI TAPS TALIANT

Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance (Lexington, KY) has implemented Denver-based Taliant Software, LLP's PowerComp Insurance Suite, an integrated policy and claims administration solution.

ACS WINS METLIFE BPO

Dallas-based ACS, a business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, has been awarded a business process outsourcing contract by MetLife (New York) for the carrier's disability claims processing, long-term care, small business center, brokerage, annuity, and group and individual areas.

SOLCORP DEALS

Max New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (New Delhi) has licensed the INGENIUM policy administration system from Toronto-based SOLCORP, a division of EDS. In addition, New York-based Citigroup subsidiary Primerica launched its term life insurance products in Europe on the INGENIUM platform.

AGO WINS EAI

Eastern Alliance Insurance Group (Lancaster, PA) will use the Gateway Version of the Workers Comp System from AGO Insurance Software, Inc. (Mount Arlington, NJ). EAI has also licensed AGO's Policy Processing, Premium Accounting, WC Pols reporting and WC Unit Statistical Reporting Modules.

CSC SCORES BPO DEAL

New York-based Clarendon Insurance Group, a Hannover Re company, has chosen Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC, Austin, TX) to provide back-office business process outsourcing services for Clarendon's non-standard automobile insurance business.

DELPHI GETS INSIGHTFUL

Analysts at Delphi Capital Management Inc., a provider of employee benefit insurance and a subsidiary of Delphi Financial Group Inc. (Wilmington, DE), will use the S-PLUS application, from Seattle-based Insightful Corp., for econometric modeling to optimize the profitability of their investment portfolios.

PEROT WINS MBF DEAL

Medical Benefits Fund of Australia (Sydney) has signed a five-year master service agreement for Plano, TX-based Perot Systems Corp.'s DIAMOND 950 claims admin service and options for additional task orders.
