New York Life Adds Mobile Customer Services
New York Life Insurance Company has added mobile enhancements to its customer self-service Web site. Users can view policy and investment information, transfer funds and change future payment and investment allocations from Web-enabled mobile devices.
Customers can get detailed information about their insurance policies, annuities, and variable products, including cash value, premium payment, and beneficiary information in a form that is automatically optimized for viewing on their mobile device by screen size and resolution. This joins New York Life's other mobile-optimized sites, including its home site and its GuaranteesMatter.com informational site.
“We are pleased to offer expanded digital capabilities, giving our policy owners access to their account 24/7 with one click on the VSC login button on www.NewYorkLife.com from their mobile devices,” Kenneth Hittel, VP of the Corporate Internet Department at New York Life, says in a statement. “Giving policy owners the ability to manage their account through these safe and secure functions represents our continued commitment to providing ongoing superior customer service and mobile innovation in the industry.”
