Patriot National Launches New iOS iApp for Customers, Agents, Employees
Patriot National Insurance Group, a Fort Lauderdale-based workers’ compensation carrier, has released its company iApp on the Apple App store. The new app, which Patriot National characterizes as providing targeted information to the insurer’s customers, agents and employees, builds on Patriot’s previous release of quoting capabilities accessible on Apple’s iPad and iPhone platforms.
Judy Haddad, Patriot National
The Patriot National iApp gives users access to timely information, such as who to contact through local offices across the country. Its functionality includes mapping the location of events, adding events to a user’s calendar, social media presence and application sharing.
"Patriot National has been innovative by deploying WC quoting on an iPad and iPhone. So it made sense to us that a customer service based iApp for both devices would complement our mobile offerings and conveniently support our customers,” comments Judith Haddad, CIO, Patriot National.
Many of the iApp’s features mirror the informational aspect of the carriers website, and other features ease interaction, such as select the appropriate geographic region to instantly make a phone call or send an email to a specific department.
“Our future iApp releases will continue to add self service functionality, such as checking on a status of a policy, reporting a claim, or paying an invoice,” Haddad reports. “We are extremely pleased to be able to leverage innovative solutions with our iApp deployment.”
