Rural Community Continues Digital Push With Mobile
Rural Community Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo that provides agriculture insurance, has launched a mobile app for its agents.
The app lets the field force:
- View policy and claims information on demand, including adjuster notes and indemnity checks
- Enter first notices of loss to start a claim
- Access claims information in a consolidated view
- Instantly contact a local claims supervisor
“With RCIS Mobile agents can check coverage levels, policyholder and claims information, find contacts, and access policy documents on the go,” said Rick Greenwood, CIO of RCIS, in a statement. “We want to help our agents be as productive outside the office as they are inside the office. Providing quick access to reliable data and will help them better serve their customers.”
RCIS made news earlier this year for embracing onboard sensors and connected equipment to submit compliance data to the insurer and regulators.
