StoneRiver Deploys PilotFish Technology to Strengthen LifeSuite Capabilities
StoneRiver (Oakland, Calif.) reports that it will deploy Middletown, Conn.-based PilotFish Technology's XCS eiPlatform jointly with StoneRiver's LifeSuite web-based solution for new business and automated underwriting. The XCS eiPlatform is a complementary integration framework used to execute and manage interfaces between heterogeneous systems, according to a StoneRiver statement, which adds that the combination of these two products offers insurance industry clients a painless implementation of a seamlessly integrated new business process. The combined offering will support enhanced customization and increased speed-to-market, the statement claims.
StoneRiver will also leverage PilotFish's XCS eiConsole, an integrated development environment, to design, develop, build, and test interfaces. StoneRiver cites that benefits of the PilotFish solutions include the XCS Data Mapper’s drag-and-drop XSLT mapping capability, which allows StoneRiver to quickly adapt to evolving client requirements and to a plethora of partner data formats. The benefits of the alliance enable StoneRiver to further heighten client satisfaction by building interfaces more efficiently and effectively, leaving more time and resources to concentrate on core insurance application development, the vendor claims.
“The decision was simple,” comments Dennis Pfiffner, Vice President of Product Services at StoneRiver, “We wanted to deploy powerful and practical solutions for the connectivity, transformation, and transmission of data to our clients’ partners – using ACORD and other data feeds. The results of our initial integration efforts have been extremely successful and currently in use with clients.” Neil Schappert, president of PilotFish says, “We are excited to see this relationship bear fruit. StoneRiver is a leader in providing strategic software solutions to the industry — and PilotFish is the premier provider of integration solutions tuned to the needs of this market. It is a natural partnership that we expect will continue to allow StoneRiver to deliver rapidly and effectively on behalf of their clients.”
