Wendy Corman Named President of edge IPK, North America

The former Duck Creek executive will be responsible for driving the distribution-focused vendor's growth in North America.

edge IPK (Hungerford, U.K.), a provider of insurance solutions designed to support a secure, browser-based, internationalized presentation layer to provide all distribution channels a high-quality user experience, today announced that Wendy Corman has joined the company as president of the North American operation, based in Farmington, Conn. Reporting directly to edge IPK CEO Mike Williams, Corman will be responsible for driving the company's growth in North America.

"In working with edge IPK as a consultant I was impressed with not just the product and technology, but in the quality of the people and the company," comments Corman. "In today's insurance industry, the definition of speed-to-market is changing. It is no longer about just about getting the insurance product to the Web; it is also about simultaneously delivering the product to multiple distribution channels while providing an optimal user experience for each. These capabilities will soon become an insurer's competitive differentiators, and edge IPK is uniquely positioned with the right solution at the right time to help insurers set themselves apart."

Prior to joining edge IPK, Corman was most recently the founder of Corman Consulting where she worked with software companies in evaluating and opening new markets. Wendy is probably best known in the industry for her seven years with Duck Creek Technologies (Bolivar, Mo.) where she was senior vice president of business development, sales and marketing.
