What Makes a Great iPad App for Insurance Agents?

San Francisco-based life insurer Transamerica's distribution division launched an iPad app for its agents in April called LifeSales. The app helps advisers take prospects through much of the life insurance purchasing process, including calculating coverage needs and providing policy quotes. It also includes sales brochures and presentations, and can recall and compare previous quotes -- even if the device is not connected to the Internet.
