Willis to Adopt Applied Systems Epic As Its Primary Tech Platform
Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings (London) has agreed to adopt Applied Systems Inc.'s (University Park, Ill.) Applied Systems Epic agency management solution as its primary technology platform in North America for managing client transactions and servicing. Willis last year expanded its North American footprint from 70 to more than 200 locations when it acquired broker Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH). As part of its integration efforts, the North American business, now known as Willis HRH, will unite all offices on the Epic platform to replace various legacy systems.
The company selected Epic after an extensive due diligence process, according to Vic Krauze, chief operating officer of Willis HRH. "We look forward to working with Applied Systems on a successful deployment of Epic and to realizing the full efficiency, cost savings and client servicing benefits of the new system," Krauze said in a statement.
"A number of Willis HRH professionals currently use Applied Systems TAM and Vision, among other systems, and we're eager to work with the company to unite all users on the Epic platform," said James P. Kellner, Applied Systems chairman and CEO, in a statement.
