ChoicePoint Acquires Optimal Decision Group

Alpharetta, Ga.-based ChoicePoint recently announced that it has acquired Optimal Decision Group (ODG), a developer and deployer of advanced analytics and software to the insurance industry. Choicepoint will integrate ODP's pricing optimization into its Data Services transactional product line.

A Choicepoint press release describes ODG as a recognized leader in auto and home insurance price optimization. "The acquisition of ODG into the ChoicePoint portfolio reaffirms our strategy to expand and deliver highly advanced analytics through predictive modeling, software and consulting services to the property and casualty insurance market," ChoicePoint insurance analytics general manager Liz Draper said in the release.
