Co-operative Insurance Licenses CSC Claims Software

The Vermont-based P&C carrier has selected CSC's RISKMASTER, Vendor Solutions Suite and 2Work products.

Co-operative Insurance Companies (Middlebury, Vt.), has licensed CSC software to enhance its claims operations, according to a vendor statement. The P&C carrier has selected CSC's RISKMASTER to accelerate claims processing, Vendor Solutions Suite to manage relationships with outside vendors and 2Work for Adjusters to support the claims adjustment process in a mobile environment.

"CSC's software applications will help us achieve that strategic objective by accelerating the claims process, streamlining the work of on-the-go claims adjusters and proactively managing our relationships with outside vendors."

According to the CSC statement, RISKMASTER automates and streamlines the claims process from first-notice-of-loss to payout, built on a highly configurable, fully Web-based service-oriented architecture for fast implementation. The system helps to ensure timely, accurate and consistent customer interactions and loss payments while providing management insight and improved expense control, the vendor asserts.

Vendor Solutions Suite helps manage a company's entire relationship with its third-party suppliers, from assignment of tasks to review and approval of expenses, according to CSC. The intuitive system automates and simplifies the vendor assignment process, tracks performance, promotes best practices and can ultimately lead to lower expenses the vendor claims.

2Work for Adjusters is a mobile application that expedites claims management by making a full range of claims processing transactions available to field adjusters through tablet-sized computers and other mobile devices. Part of CSC's family of mobile insurance apps, 2Work for Adjusters improves adjuster efficiency and elevates claimant satisfaction.
