Connecture Launches Web-Based Health Reform Forum
Atlanta-based health insurance automation vendor Connecture has opened a Health Reform Client Forum Web site on which its insurer clients can discuss the impact of the legislation signed earlier this year.
Connecture will also post relevant information on the site for its clients, it says. The company is responding to client concerns raised at its May user conference, at which carriers asked it to keep them appraised of reform's impact on its InsureConnect suite.
At its July user Web meeting, Connecture unveiled the Web site, and outlined a strategy including an expanded health reform team and a summary of market changes.
"Everyone needs a little help in navigating through the regulations, and there is no reason our clients should go through it alone," Bob Barry, SVP of product and market strategy at Connecture, says in a statement. "Many are tasked with similar technology enhancements, and it makes sense to provide a means for them to ask questions of one another. We are very happy to provide this value-added service right now."
Anthem Blue Cross is also using an Internet forum to discuss how health care reform will affect its clients — in this case, consumers.
