Alfa Insurance Launches Mobile App on Kony Platform
Montgomery, Ala.-based Alfa Insurance has launched a new version of its Alfa2Go mobile app on the Kony (Orlando, Fla.) platform. In addition to paying bills and filing claims, customers who register their policies with MyAlfa can now access policy information or view their auto insurance identification cards via mobile.
"This version of Alfa2Go demonstrates our commitment to providing our valued customers with more convenient ways than ever to manage their relationship with Alfa. Customers can still take advantage of the personal service they expect from us, with the additional option of accessing important services anytime, anywhere from their smartphones,” says Walter Overby, VP of corporate internet and e-business for Alfa, in a statement. “By moving to Kony’s platform, we are future-proofing our app and ensuring a quick and efficient process for supporting new features, new mobile channels, devices, and OS upgrades.”
Other features of the Alfa2Go app include vehicle maintenance reminders that prompt consumers to change the oil, rotate tires, renew license tags or renew their driver's license. A mapping feature helps locate Alfa offices, tow trucks, body shops and gas stations.
