CHT Releases HealthMall Version 3.0

Consumer Health Technologies' HealthMall portal gives health insurers' customers access to various healthcare products and services from online pharmacies and vendors, such as Walgreens, drugstore.com and CoastalContacts.com.

Consumer Health Technologies (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) (CHT) has released version 3.0 of its HealthMall portal, which the vendor says gives consumers access to various healthcare products and services from online pharmacies and vendors, such as Walgreens, drugstore.com and CoastalContacts.com. HealthMall is available both as a standalone product as well as a seamless component of BenefitSpan, CHT's comprehensive CDHC platform for benefits administration, HSA/FSA/HRA account management and health & wellness services delivery.

CHT claims that HealthMall delivers cost savings by empowering consumers to cost compare and purchase from a wide selection of top tier healthcare pharmacy, and wellness retailers. HealthMall allows consumers to pay for these products and services using either their credit/debit cards or funds in their Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), or Health Savings Account (HSA), according to the vendor.

Members receive cash back rewards on all eligible purchases, which can be deposited directly into their designated account, CHT says. Members also enjoy the convenience of electronic record keeping for their health related expenses and for tax reporting purposes, according to CHT.

CHT clients, which include third-party administrators, health insurers and financial institutions, can configure and publish custom FSA/HRA/HSA store or product catalogue from a large selection of nationally recognized brands such as Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and Drugstore.com, according to CHT. Administrators can create substantial new revenue via the cash back rewards, which can be deposited directly into their designated account.
