CNA Names Robert Jirgal SVP of Business Process Reengineering

In his newly created position, the former Gartner and Keane Worldzen consultant will work closely with the P&C carriers senior leadership to deliver enterprise-wide operating efficiencies, stronger business results and superior service capabilities.

CNA Financial Corp. (Chicago) has named Robert Jirgal to the newly created position of senior vice president of business process reengineering. Jirgal will work closely with CNA's senior leadership to envelop and implement business strategies designed to deliver enterprise-wide operating efficiencies, stronger business results and superior service capabilities, according to a statement from CNA.

“Bob is the ideal leader to fill this critical role which is dedicated to improving how we conduct our business, our customer focus and market response,” says Tim Szerlong, president of Worldwide Field Operations, CNA.

Jirgal's experience includes 20 years of management consulting and financial services operations with a heavy concentration in the insurance industry, including work with CNA, according to the company statement. Most recently Jirgal served as vice president and managing partner of financial services for Gartner Consulting where he was responsible for providing strategic consulting and program oversight services for large, complex transformational initiatives involving operational changes and technology. Prior to Gartner he served as managing director of business transformation services and business process outsourcing for Keane Worldzen (formerly Bricker & Associates).
