Columbia, S.C.-based Colonial Life has released a new app for Apple device users.
Policyholders can now access claims information and policy details from their iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. In addition, they can also use an agent locator feature to find the Colonial Life representative closest to them and communicate with a customer service representative. Customers can also access a Frequently Asked Questions feature for help.
"We're excited to offer our policyholders this free service that makes it simple and more convenient for them to get the information they need," says Linda Bambacus, Colonial Life's VP of service operations, in a statement. "The ability to check on the status of a claim at any time can reassure our customers -- especially when they're waiting to pay medical bills and other expenses from an accident or illness."
