The worldwide CRM services market will increase at a compound annual growth rate of 18.6 percent, to reach $45.5 billion in 2006, according to new research from IDC (Framingham, MA), a global market intelligence and e-business advisory firm. The US CRM services market is expected to total over $18 billion in 2006, a growth rate well above that of the overall US IT services market, IDC reports.
Teradata, a Dayton, OH-based provider of analytical applications for customer relationship management, has released the Teradata Warehouse 6.2 suite. The suite includes Teradata Warehouse Miner 3.1 data mining software, reports Teradata. Teradata Warehouse 6.2 includes enhanced data mining enhancements, sequential analysis, and offers the capability to look at the relationships of two or more events over time.
Atomica Corp. (Burlingame, CA) released Atomica Enterprise for Call Centers, which it claims is engineered to instantly unify and deliver relevant customer information from an enterprise's internal and external data sources to increase the speed of call centers and knowledge workers. Atomica Enterprise enables agents seamless access to information from sources such as product FAQs, release notes, customer installation notes, spec sheets, reports, knowledge bases, call-tracking systems, vendor tech-support databases and CRM systems.
