MSN (Redmond, WA) has selected eHealthInsurance (Sunnyvale, CA) as its exclusive provider of individual, family and small business health insurance policies through CNBC on MSN Money, the personal finance service from Microsoft and CNBC. The partnership will offer consumers a way to learn about, compare, apply for and purchase an array of health insurance plans.

With the goal of giving sales professionals the ability to access IT applications with the use of a single password, PrudentialFinancial (Newark, NJ) is deploying Passlogix's v-GO Single Sign-On (SSO) solution.

Among the findings of the latest Swiss Re Sigma Study, "Insurance Markets in Asia: Sanguine Outlook Despite Short-Term Uncertainties," are that cheaper and more effective distribution channels are opening up, China and India are driving regional growth, deregulation is opening up the market, and the industry is in a period of ongoing consolidation.
